My friend just sent this email to me. I had to post it. This tiny deer was delivered by Caesarean section at a wildlife hospital. Little Rupert, is so small he can fit in an adult's hand.
That's because Rupert is premature. The story behind it he was rescued from his mother who was about to die :( Glad he's healthy though and he IS so cute!
SOOOOOO freakin' cute! I love it. We have a lot of deer here, but even the babies are usually bigger than this little guy.
