Hans Holbein and the Anamorphic Perspective

The Ambassadors is a painting by Hans Holbein the Younger in which he painted a skull at the bottom in Anamorphic Perspective.
In order to see it, you viewer has to put their face to the side of the painting. Suddenly it looks much like this:
